It's Monday again, which means it's time for another run down of the upcoming events happening in Kimberley this week. If you have an event or know of an event that should be listed this week (or any future week) please let me know by jumping over to the CONTACT page or just shoot an email to 'email@example.com' (or message me on FACEBOOK / TWITTER / INSTAGRAM).
And now, here's everything coming up that I know about…
ON MONDAY 31/10/2016:
Normally I start off this summary with a "there isn't really anything scheduled for Monday”, but this Monday is Halloween so this Monday is not like other Mondays. So, besides taking the little ones around your usual neighbourhood haunts, make sure to hit up The Platzl and other local businesses in Kimberley & Marysville between 3-5pm for both tricks and treats.
ON TUESDAY 1/11/2016:
Make sure to head to Nutter's in Cranbrook Tuesday evening (starting at 5pm) to learn how to turn your fruits and veggies into pasta noddles. They will have a 'spiralizer' setup for you to try, as well as tasty dishes & recipes for even more in-spiral-ation.
ON WEDNESDAY 2/11/2016:
Christine Simpson will be returning to Green Door for another 'paint and pinot' class called 'Magical Alpine Forest'. There will be delicious Green Door appetizers served all night long, so you'll not only leave with a satisfied belly, but also with your own painting to hang on that spot on the wall that's been looking a little empty (you know the one).
ON THURSDAY 3/11/2016:
The 4th annual Kimberley Larch Festival is happening over at Stonefire Pizzeria Thursday night (5pm - 8pm)… and happening right across the street at Green Door will be a night of live music from the unique & talented Hello Moth (show gets started around 7:30pm, so no reason you can't fit in both).
ON FRIDAY 4/11/2016:
Hello Moth will be back at Green Door on Friday night, this time opening for Calgary's folk rocking The Frontiers. And over at the Kimberley Conference & Athletic Centre there is the screening of Warren Miller's latest epic 'Here There & Everywhere'.
ON SATURDAY 5/11/2016:
Winter is coming, which also means that ski / snowboard season is coming. So if combining a job and a ski pass sounds like the right ticket for you, make sure to check out the 'Kimberley Alpine Resort Job Far' happening up at Stemwinder this Saturday. And later, either warm up at the Larch Festival Bonfire or head to Cranbrook for a great night of live music scheduled at Key City Theatre when Barney Bentall & The Cariboo Express roll into town.
ON SUNDAY 6/11/2016:
After a full week of happenings… maybe a lazy Sunday is in order, no?
OK. That is all the happenings happening in Kimberley for the week of 'OCTOBER 31 - NOVEMBER 6' that I was aware of at the time of throwing this post together. Update your calendars accordingly and remember to continue popping by the 95EH WHAT'S ON page on the regular for upcoming events.
And it'd be extra cool if you followed 95EH on Facebook / Instagram / Twitter and probably most importantly…
IF YOU HAVE ANY UPCOMING EVENTS OR HAPPENINGS OR QUESTIONS OR WHATEVER… PLEASE GET IN TOUCH :)
