HIKE NORDIC TRAILS | MOUNTOWN JOURNAL

ENTRY BY JEREMY/HI54LOFI | OCTOBER 2016

I haven't experienced a winter in Kimberley yet, so I am sure that the Nordic Trails are just as lovely (and probably even more fun) once the cold & fluffy white stuff transform the area into a cross country skiers paradise, but until then, I can just confirm how nice a place it is to go for a walk. Especially when all the autumn colours are popping.

There's a parking lot at the end of North Star Blvd (after Kirkwood Inn), so pack a lunch and some coffee and some water AND a bag of Spitz and go spend a morning / afternoon / day exploring the different loops and tangent path.

Here's some pics…

Winter is coming, so get up there while you can still get around without some skis or snowshoes (although that sounds pretty fun too).
