JEREMY CHRISTENSEN | MEET A LOCAL
Q&A POSTMARK: JUNE 2018
Jeremy Christensen—the head headphones behind JAXaudio—metaphorically stops by the blog to say "hello" and leave behind some tips for getting the most out of a life lived (or a visit visited) around Highway 95 eh.
WHO ARE YOU & WHAT DO YOU DO?
My name is Jeremy, I grew up in Kimberley. I work at the pulp mill in Skookumchuck and am the owner of JAXaudio, a local mobile entertainment company.
WHY LIVE AROUND HIGHWAY 95 EH?
I moved home to raise my kids in the best place I know.
IF SOMEONE IS ONLY IN THE AREA FOR A FEW DAYS, WHAT WOULD BE ON YOUR LIST OF MUST-DO’S?
Do some local hikes. Check out the Platzl and go to the Old Bauernhaus for the feast.
I’M HUNGRY… WHERE SHOULD I GO TO FIX THIS REOCCURRING PROBLEM?
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE OUTDOOR ACTIVITY AND YOUR TOP PLACE AROUND HERE FOR DOING THAT ACTIVITY?
Kimberley is a great place to live and play. If you live here, join a softball or hockey team. If you're visiting, go golfing or take a bike for a spin in the nature park.
FINALLY… PLEASE SHARE ONE LAST KOOTENAY TIP / RECOMMENDATION / THOUGHT / WHATEVER THAT YOU DIDN'T GET A CHANCE TO GET IN DURING THE PREVIOUS QUESTIONS.
Kimberley is a food and beverage Mecca. If you leave hungry, that’s on you.
OK, ACTUAL FINALLY… PLEASE GIVE ONE COMPLETELY UNAIDED RECOMMENDATION THAT YOU THINK EVERYONE SHOULD START DOING / USING / WATCHING / LISTENING / EATING / THINKING / QUITTING / READING / ETC-ING TO MAKE THEIR LIVES A LITTLE BIT BETTER AND BEARABLE.
If you get a chance to hang with JAXaudio, we guarantee you will have a great time. Cheers
