SUNFLOWER HILL | MOUNTOWN JOURNAL

ENTRY BY JEREMY/HI54LOFI | NOVEMBER 2016

Whenever there is a clear sky in the forecast, a trip to Sunflower Hill—which you'll find in the Kimberley Nature Park—should definitely be near the top of your list of possible things to do for that clear sky day.

Easily accessed from a trail opposite the entry to Kimberley Riverside R.V. Resort (which you can get to by heading a few minutes down St. Mary Lake RD), you'll find yourself enjoying breathtaking views of mountains & rolling hills & valleys (and in the summer, actual sunflowers—well, ok, Balsam Root), all while barely breaking a sweat (or not breaking a sweat at all, if you eat less potato chips than I tend to do).

Here's some pics from a couple trips we took up the hill during the last few days of the 'Extended Summer of Late October / Early November 2016'.
