WEDNESDAY, June 5th

Community Yoga Day | We’re so excited to announce our 3rd annual Community Yoga Event!!!

Please join 9 talented yoga teachers, from various studios around the area, at Rotary Park on June 5th, to welcome June and celebrate community!

This year our yoga practice will be slightly different. From 6-8pm, 9 different teachers from our area will each lead a short sequence (15 mins and under). Each teacher will bring their own style and approach, and this gives us a chance to practice and enjoy as many offerings as feels right.

We encourage yogis of all levels to come and participate, to practice in the sets they feel comfortable, and to take breaks as well, feeling free to sit portions of the practice out, enjoy the park, community and warm weather.

This event will be offered by donation and all profits will go to support Cranbrook's Women's Center and The Boys and Girls Club. (Suggested donation $10 minimum) Like last year, DJ Nay Taron will be playing throughout the practice to help us move, and smooth our energies. We can't wait. Please invite your friends and join us!

* Hosted by The Inner Roar Yoga and Wellness, Rhonda Loggains Yoga, and Glow Yoga & Wellness.

Connecting with your Teen | This workshop, for moms of teen girls, will give you the knowledge and tools to better understand your teen daughter with a focus on transitioning from childhood to adulthood, the need for human connection, and the epidemic of stress and anxiety in teen girls today.

Join Aleata Harty-Blank of Grow Girl Teen Advocacy for this opportunity to tune into who your daughter really is and the role we play in that as parents. We will meet in the Purcell Room at Trickle Creek Lodge for the 1.5 hour presentation and discussion.

Light snacks and beverages will be provided. The outdoor hot tubs and pool are available for our use following the event, so bring your swimsuit and towel if you feel like a relaxing dip to round out your evening away from the kids!

…of course, there's much more than one thing happening on each day this week, and there are many more days to plan for than just the next 7, so listen to what your gut is trying to tell you & make sure you bookmark 95EH.CA (either in your browser or your brain) for those future moments when you find yourself wondering about what’s going on and coming up in the area.

But for right now—since we’re already right here, reading this same sentence—I’ve added a version of The 95EH Events Calendar below for you to see everything happening on whatever day/month you’re curious about.

THE 95EH MINI CALENDAR

* IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO GET YOUR KIMBERLEY / CRANBROOK & AREA EVENT LISTED IN THE 95EH EVENTS CALENDAR, IT'S AS SIMPLE AS THESE INSTRUCTIONS THAT BASICALLY SAY THAT ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS JUST CREATE A FACEBOOK EVENT FOR YOUR EVENT.

Looking for some good music for the week ahead?

Well, we biasedly recommend MOUNTOWN FM - which is a 'pretend, for real' radio station that features fresh playlists that you can listen to at work, at home, in the car, or even on top of a mountain (which might be all in the same day, for some).

+ Here's SOME stuff FROM THE BLOG for even more options for getting to know the local vibe better — or maybe just for extending that coffee break a little longer, eh?

And that’s it for this week’s weekly run down.

If you’d like even more “ehs?!” throughout the week, make sure to follow 95EH on the socials…

…and be sure to keep an eye out on Friday for 'The Weekend EH?!’ — which is kinda like ‘The Weekly Eh?!’ but also a little different *and more importantly* The 95EH Events Calendar is always adding more local events because events never stop getting made—so there’s just a lot of stuff going on, eh?

\M/

‘THE WEEKLY EH?’ IS PUT TOGETHER EVERY MONDAY BY JEREMY / @HI54LOFI. IF YOU'D ALSO BE INTERESTED IN CONTRIBUTING / COLLABORATING ON SOMETHING 95EH, JUST SEND A "HEY!" TO:
